We don’t currently offer instant messaging. By using written messages there are a number of advantages - you can write to your therapist anytime you choose and don’t have to wait for a scheduled time to chat. You can write as much and as often as you would like. This also gives your therapist time to read and respond in a detailed and thoughtful way. It also allows you to have a record of your communication with your therapist so you can refer back to it when you want to.
